Mr. Tim Williams
Tim has been in the exercise and fitness field the last five years. He has a passion and great understanding to motivate and inspire people of all walks of life. After graduating from Rockhurst High School where he competed in soccer and wrestling, he participated in NCAA soccer, diving, and golf. Upon graduating from Avila College with a finance degree and subsequently working as an operational manager, Tim felt a change in careers was needed. Taking some time off for some soul searching, he decided the fitness industry was the right path for him to take. Going back to school to earn a degree in personal training from Heritage College was his decision. Shortly after starting at Heritage, Tim was hired by BENE-FIT Health & Fitness. While he was still at Heritage he decided to take his chances by taking the ACE certifying exam before finishing his course work. Tim passed the exam and immediately started his career as a personal trainer. After graduating with honors, he became manager of Bene-Fit and ran the gym for three years. Now he wants to commit all his time and energy to personal training. His certifications are in choleserol and exercise, cancer and exercise, diabeties and exercise, pre and post natal exercise, and post-orthopedic rehabilitation.

Ms. Jan Schmidt
Jan's mission is to help her clients optimize their health and well-being by making sustainable lifestyle changes. She has several years of experience working with all ages, sizes and abilities from athletes to busy moms to stroke and cancer survivors. Her approach is to provide challenging but safe workouts drawing from a number of varied formats including the traditional cardio and weight workouts to sessions that incorporate yoga, Pilates, and balance training.
She holds a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology, personal training certification from the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), and has extensive experience and training in group exercise modalities including Pilates, Yoga, Kickboxing, Aqua-Aerobics, and weight training. She is also nearing completion of her certification from the Yoga School of Therapeutics and hopes to begin offering private yoga sessions later this summer.
Because everyone is different, Jan starts off by learning as much as she can about her client's goals as well as his/her current health and fitness levels through a complimentary pre-training consultation and fitness evaluation. She then uses this information to design a personalized program. From there, she will partner with you in one of several ways – a few appointments to get you started followed by periodic updates or appointments on a more set schedule to keep you on track. Her rates are as follows:
30 minute appointments: $30 or a six appointments prepaid (6-pack) for $150;
One hour appointments: $50 or $250 for a 6-pack.
30 minute appointments: $40 for two people, $45 for three;
One hour appointments: $70 for two people, $90 for three
